Cars for Kids' sake

About the program

Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to announce that moving forward, we will be partnering with Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS) a 501(C)3 nonprofit, to facilitate and run our vehicle donation program, Cars for Kids’ Sake.

Here are a few items that may be helpful for you to know:

1. All vehicles are considered for donation – even non-running. This may include cars, trucks, SUV’s, motorcycles, boats, farm equipment, airplanes etc.

2. CARS is a turn-key partner that handles everything from vehicle pick-up to sale.

3. Cars for Kids’ Sake donations are split 50/50 based on the zip code of the donor.

If you have Cars for Kids’ Sake links on your website, you can update them to direct to: https://bbbs.careasy.org/home, but the old form should be automatically redirected to the CARS website, so no immediate form or site changes are needed.

Later this year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America will provide agencies with a new tool-kit to help promote Cars for Kids’ Sake to local supporters.
