Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Joseph County Celebrates Their 50th Anniversary in 2018

SOUTH BEND- Big Brothers Big Sisters is excited to celebrate 50 years of life-changing mentoring in St. Joseph County. Throughout the years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has impacted a countless number of children and adults in the most positive of ways.

“The impact that our mentoring program has made on this community over the last half century has been incredible,” says Big Brothers Big Sisters of SJC Board President, Brian Stanley. “We’re looking forward to helping young children achieve their dreams for many more years to come.”

“It’s amazing to see the community come together over the years to support our most vulnerable children in need of support and encouragement,” added longtime Executive Director Deborah Burrow. “But without the financial help of sponsors and donations from the community, we could not have survived for the last 50 years. We are so very grateful for everything that our donors have done to help support this program as well as the hundreds and hundreds of Big Brother Big Sister volunteer mentors that have given so much of their time and heart to help change the lives of our Little’s.”
